Redrawing the picture leaves the EXIF block behind, so camera model and GPS coordinates do not come along. The rotation a phone records is applied first, so the result is the right way up.
Your browser sets the limits
Only formats this browser can write are listed, which is why AVIF appears on some machines and not others. Animation is not carried over: a GIF or an animated WebP comes back as its first frame.

Are my images uploaded to convert them?
No. The browser decodes the file, redraws it and encodes it again on your own machine. Nothing is sent unless you sign in and choose to save the result to your account.
Can I convert several images at once?
Yes. Drop as many as you like, and more than one result downloads as a single .zip.
